Core Engineering Competence & Design Capabilities

Building reliable machinery requires combining metallurgical expertise with precise CNC machining. XC uses specialized engineers and software tools like COPRA RF to design roll-forming profiles that handle complex bending challenges.

Advanced Auto-Line Integration

Our systems combine decoiling, leveling, punching, forming, cutting, and stacking into a single continuous process. This setup reduces labor costs and ensures consistent product quality from start to finish.

Precision Roller Tooling Design

We manufacture rollers using CNC lathes and high-grade materials like Cr12MoV. Hard chrome plating and vacuum heat treatments (HRC 58-62) protect the tooling from wear, ensuring it holds shape during long production runs.

Smart Control Architectures

Powered by Siemens and Mitsubishi PLCs, our machines track operating parameters in real-time. This helps operators adjust forming speeds, cut-to-length measurements, and punching patterns with high accuracy.

Technical & Production Capabilities

Technical & Production Capabilities

XC is focused on building automated systems that meet different industrial needs. Our manufacturing setups are designed to handle everything from thin-gauge steel framing to thick structural purlins.

Every system undergoes stress analysis and testing to ensure it handles varying steel grades and thicknesses. This mechanical reliability helps minimize downtime and maintains tight product tolerances over millions of meters of formed metal.

China Industry 4.0: Supply Chain Resilience & Efficiency

Manufacturing in China has evolved from simple assembly to high-tech, digital production. Our facilities use modern automation and manufacturing management to control quality and lead times.

The Advantages of Ecosystem Integration

Our facility in China benefits from a complete metalworking ecosystem. We source high-grade raw steel, motors, and hydraulic systems locally. This concentrated supply chain lowers production costs and protects against global supply shortages.

Using automated CNC machining and strict quality management, we produce standard components with high repeatability. This means replacement parts fit correctly and machinery ships on schedule, avoiding project delays for our clients.

1. Standardized Manufacturing (ISO 9001:2015)

Every step of production, from raw steel selection to final run tests, is documented and verified.

2. Precision Testing Equipment

We use laser tracking and digital measuring tools to confirm that frame alignments and roller clearances meet target tolerances.

3. Efficient Logistics & Customs Clearance

Located near major commercial ports, we package and ship large industrial lines safely and efficiently to global destinations.

Technology Roadmap & Future Outlook

Metal forming technology is changing rapidly. XC is incorporating new control features and eco-friendly designs to keep our machinery ready for future manufacturing standards.

Phase 1: Real-Time Closed-Loop Adjustments

We are adding smart thickness sensors to our lines. The system automatically adjusts roller pressure when it detects variation in sheet metal thickness, preventing dimensional drift.

Phase 2: High-Strength Steel (HSS) Bending

Modern structures use high-yield steels (up to 550 MPa or higher). We are optimizing our roll passes to shape these materials without causing structural cracks or excessive springback.

Phase 3: IoT Monitoring & Support

We are integrating cloud diagnostics into our PLC systems. This allows remote maintenance support and monitors machine performance to identify maintenance needs before components fail.

Phase 4: Multi-Profile Flexible Tooling

We are developing motorized interchangeable designs that let operators change profile sizes automatically from the HMI screen, reducing setup times for custom runs.

Macro-Industry Solutions & Global Applications

Built for Heavy-Duty Applications

We customize our equipment for different regional standards. Whether manufacturing standing seam panels for high-wind coastal areas or C/Z purlins for warehouse structures, our systems produce consistent, code-compliant profiles.

Each profile undergoes Finite Element Analysis (FEA) during design. This step simulates metal stress during forming, helping us create profiles that maintain their physical strength and structural properties.

Frequently Asked Sourcing & Technical Questions

Find answers to common questions about roll forming technology, manufacturing capabilities, and global procurement procedures.

Dimensional tolerances depend on roller design, shaft rigidity, and machine frame alignment. During our engineering phase, we design progressive bending steps to minimize steel stress and springback. We CNC-grind rollers to ±0.02mm tolerances, and use solid, hardened steel shafts (40Cr or similar) to prevent flexing. Final product profile tolerances are typically kept within ±1.0mm on width/height, and ±1.5mm on cut length.
We select roller materials based on the target profile and metal type (e.g., carbon steel, prepainted steel, or aluminum). We typically use high-grade tool steels like Cr12MoV, D2, or SKD11. These rollers undergo vacuum quenching and heat treatment to achieve a surface hardness of HRC 58 to 62. The rollers are then hard-chrome plated to resist wear and prevent marking on pre-painted coil surfaces.
Yes, our C/Z interchangeable purlin machines are designed for this purpose. An operator can switch profiles using automatic PLC rotation or manual adjustments. The PLC system controls the motorized frame rotation, changing between C and Z profiles, and adjusts web and flange sizes in minutes. This reduces setup times compared to using separate lines.
We build our control panels with components from recognized global brands to make sourcing spares easy. Standard configurations feature Siemens or Mitsubishi PLCs, user-friendly HMI touchscreens, Yaskawa frequency inverters, and Omron encoders for cut-to-length tracking. Safety features, including emergency stops and overload sensors, are standard.
We perform a full test run on every completed machine. We ask the client to supply sample coils of their specified material, including correct grades, thicknesses, and paint finishes. We run the line under production conditions to verify throughput speed, cut accuracy, flatness, and profile tolerances. Clients can attend the FAT in person or review it via video documentation and dimension reports.
Lead times depend on the complexity of the design. Standard lines like single-profile roofing or light gauge framing machines are completed in 60 to 75 days. Complex lines, such as high-speed purlin systems, deep floor deck formers, or lines with automated stacking and packaging, take 90 to 120 days. These schedules allow sufficient time for engineering, assembly, and testing.
To protect the equipment during sea transit, we apply rust-preventative oil to all unpainted steel parts, including rollers and shafts. The machine frames are secured inside the container using steel wire and wood blocking. Electrical cabinets are sealed in moisture-proof vapor barrier bags with desiccant packs, and the entire machine is covered with heavy-duty waterproof shrink wrap.
We send experienced engineers to assist with installation and setup. They align the machine, connect the electrical and hydraulic systems, run test profiles, and train your operators on safety, programming, and maintenance. We also offer video and remote support for minor adjustments or troubleshooting.
